When you look at a couple, can you guess how long they have been together?… 2 years, 6 months, 3 weeks?…
If you were to guess how long Brandi and Rusty have been together, chances are you might be a few YEARS off… They have been together for 11 YEARS – yes ELEVEN! And they are still in their mid-twenties!! BUT, you would probably guess they’ve been together a year, maybe two – because they still have this spark. The spark that gives you goosebumps. These two are totally in tune, undeniably happy, and in love.
The best part of this shoot is that Brandi is my cousin! We used to ride horses together, went to camp together, and stuck by each other’s sides at every Christmas gathering. I can even say that I was there (at 15 years old) when Brandi and Rusty met!!!
We managed to beat the Texas heat (and sun) by making it to the Log Cabin Village in Fort Worth earlier in the morning. It was overcast and surprisingly under 90 degrees, which certainly beats 100+ temperatures we have been dealing with!
